Success Story

Dixie, a ten year old German Shepherd was scheduled to be euthanized due to her advanced case of Demodex mange and deep follicular infections. She smelled very bad and would cry when she walked; leaving a trail of bloody paw prints where ever she went.

Looking into her dark, chocolate eyes, there was sadness and a pleading look of helplessness that melted the hearts of Dr. Debbie and the staff, and so they decided to try and help Dixie back to health rather than ending her life.

Nine weeks later, we are happy to report that Dixie is a sweet, gentle, and loving (may we even say 'grateful'?) dog who loves to lope around and play fetch. She is a sweetheart that loves to give kisses and play tug of war with her Booda ring.

Weeks of intense therapy included medicated baths and tender loving care has brought Dixie back from the edge.
